Padres Ranked 14th in First Power Rankings

ESPN does their weekly power rankings and they provide little more than entertainment and a glance how the perception of some teams change week to week. When you are a Padre fan, however, them providing the team with a ranking inside the first half of all the teams in MLB, including one spot above the Red Sox, that is reason for celebration.

There will be more rankings from all over the place, and its hard to argue with the results so far, but one thought since my last post is that the Padres pitching has looked good, but they haven't pitched outside of Petco Park yet. We will see how the Pads do against one of the top salaries in the league the next few days at Citi Field.
